People tend to pass storefront windows rather quickly, but what if their movement past affects a projection that is inside that store window? More than likely they will be intrigued by this unique interaction and spend some time in front of the window, which will in turn increase the curiosity of other passers-by. Chances are good that this engaging scenario will lure people into the venue to seek out more information.
That was our approach for this promotion for CoolCapitals. Outside, people could interact with projected visuals related to the 5 cities. Inside, there were terminals with interactive maps of the cities, a sound installation with audio tracks of the cities, a photo set, and a collection of brochures, books etc.
